    Section .008 meets: MW 12:30p - 1:50p, PHYS 115
    Section .011 meets: MW 2:00p - 3:20p, LANG 209

PREREQUISITE: The prerequisite for 1190 is College Algebra, MATH 1100, or a passing score on the math placement test. This can shown in one of three ways:

    1. Print out an unofficial transcript or report card with your name and MATH 1100 on it, or
    2. A "Student Report" form from the Accuplacer test, or
    3. A pink "Permit for Math Enrollment" form dated on or after 1/15/06.
It is the student's responsibility to provide the proper documentation in a timely manner or, if the prerequisite is not met, to withdraw from the course. This prerequisite will be strictly enforced, as per departmental guidelines. The deadline is Friday, 26 January, 3:00pm.

Text: Calculus with Applications, Bittinger, 8th ed., ISBN: 0321166396 is the required text for this class.

    Final Exam:

The final exam is comprehensive and constitutes 25% of your total grade. These exam dates are set by the Registrar's office and I will not move them.

    Homework Problems

Each assignment is to be handed in individually. Make sure you fold your stapled assignment lengthwise, and write your name, the date, your section number, and the assignment on the outside when you turn it in. Do not staple multiple assignments together. Failure to follow these directions may result in a partial or total loss of credit for the assignment.
