Form Data Analysis to hypothesis testing.
This series of three projects was designed for a basic
statistics course that is not calculus based. The first
project has students collecting data, presenting data in
histograms, and computing basic statistics on the data.
On the second project, the binomial distribution is used
to find the mean and variance of the random variables
sampled in the first project. Furthermore, students are
lead to think about how sample size affects the amount a
sample mean varies from the population mean. The third
project requires students to quanitify the observations
made in part 2 by using confindence intervals and
