Why does the mirror reflect you left-right, and not up-down?

Listen to yourself.
You wouldn't convince a 10-year-old.

(Please, no emails about looking at clocks from behind, the writing on your T-shirt,
or a swarm of bees all flying straight into the glass. Try again. And for goodness' sake,
