Research
Interests: I study representations of two types
of complex Lie algebras: finite dimensional semisimple
Lie algebras, and infinite dimensional Lie algebras
of vector fields such as the Virasoro Lie algebra. My
work on semisimple Lie algebras concerns extremal projectors,
operators in an extension of the universal enveloping
algebra which project representations to their highest
weight spaces. My work on vector field Lie algebras
concerns modules of tensor densities and differential
operators and their cohomology.
