Calculators: not allowed during exams.  Their use for homework is discouraged but not forbidden.

Final Exam: The final exam is on Wednesday, May 7, 8-10 AM.  It is worth 230 points.

Midterms: There will be three midterms, on February 5, March 4, and April 8 (all Tuesdays).  They are worth 150 points each.

Homework: due Thursdays at the beginning of class.  There will be 12 assignments worth 10 points each.  Collaboration is allowed, as the main purpose of the problem sets is to prepare you for the exams.

Grading: The highest possible score is 120 points on all the problem sets together, 150 points on each of the midterms, and 230 points on the final, for a total of 800 points.  The final grades will follow a curve to be determined in the same manner as in 1650.

Tutoring: available through TAMS or the Math Lab
